Synopsis
A teen-rebellion comedy with a twist, COME AS YOU ARE follows three young men with disabilities (Grant Rosenmeyer, Hayden Szeto, and Ravi Patel) who flee their overbearing parents with the help of nurse Sam (Gabourey Sidibe). Their destination? A brothel that caters to special-needs clients, so they can finally lose their virginities and embrace a shred of independence. Inspired by the true story of Asta Philipot, this remake of the 2011 Belgian award-winner HASTA LA VISTA is a modern take on the road-trip comedy, a story of the struggle to embrace your sexuality and the bonds of friendship along the way.
