ABOUT RISE (2023)
When promising ballet dancer Élise (Marion Barbeau) loses her boyfriend and sustains a career-ending injury on the same day, the young dancer leaves Paris and heads to the Brittany countryside to recover. Soon, she finds joy in a new contemporary dance company and begins to learn that life is more than the ballet company that she thought she couldn’t live without in this spirited comedy from writer/director Cédric Klapisch and co-writer Santiago Amigorena.
